Wow, I really can’t stop reading these this is like reading a movie come to life with your description and I can relate to it almost too much. I’m a huge fan of BB as well as yours but your story is even more intense and the way you seem to be handling everything is just amazing man. Definitely keep looking at the glass half full and optimism is your way out, I really like what you said about doing the time and don’t let the time do you by stressing you out, that’s a great way to handle this. I have a few friends that are kind of in the same situation however not as big but still I really want to spread this on to some of them to read what could happen if they keep making the wrong decisions and see it from someone they can relate to as well as how real this story really is. The description is just seriously like reading a movie with the imaging in my mind, like seriously man this would really be a very very good movie to watch like I would pay to see this over almost anything that is out now. Please keep blogging, I can’t get enough man haha.

Great blog Matty. I hate that you had to go through all of this. I guess we all have to go through some things in life to make us realize what we do have (love of family and friends etc). Sounds like you are workin it out though. Keep up all the hard work. You ARE/ WILL be a great help to lots of people struggling with this same stuff. Don’t be ashamed of the things you have done just learn from them and keep growing. I pray for you everyday and hope time goes fast for you. P.S.– loved you on BB. Lol take care and keep writing!!!! You’re still doing a great job with the blogs! I love reading your story. I hope you won’t stop telling it. This part (about how drugs took over your life) is really something. Compelling to say the least.

Thank you so much for reading Matty’s blog. I am the moderator. I do apologize that Matty cannot personally respond to everyone’s comments. It’s too difficult with him being in prison…going back and forth over the phone (limited time) and communicating through email (which is delayed due to prison monitoring). I felt it was important to inform everyone on his blog that taxpayers dollars do not pay for his email access. There are a few comments that Matty responded to via private email. Everyone’s comments are important and appreciated and I do apologize once again that he is not able to respond to each of you individually. Under the circumstances, I hope everyone understands.

I think your blogs are great. Maybe it will help someone, one can only hope.

I do think it’s curious that the only comment you have responded to was a negative one. Makes me go hmmmmmmmmmmmm. I certainly hope this isn’t a true reflection of your sincerity because I would think you’d respond to every comment.

But that’s just one woman’s observation.

FYI – NO taxpayers dollars are used for inmates to have access to email. Funding is provided by the inmates themselves and their family/friends for use of telephone services, email, purchasing commissary products and any other fees inmates have to pay. Inmates also have jobs at the prison, the proceeds from which also go towards these services. Emailing is a much cheaper way for family and friends to correspond with loved ones who are in prison. Phone calls are expensive and are limited to 10-15 minutes per phone call.
