Because Federal supersedes State, Matty has been waiting a very long time to be brought in to face pending state charges in Boston. He was finally flown to Boston on Thursday to face those charges. Once these charges have been resolved, he will hopefully be brought back to Ft. Dix where he will finish serving the rest of his sentence (a few short months) and continue writing his blog. He wanted me to thank everyone for their continued love and support and for following his blog!!

It will be a weight lifted off your shoulders once all these legal stuff is taken care off, and you have done your time. When you finally get out of the system if you ever have thoughts on doing something you should not be just remember how prison life was not fun and not worth you doing something to take the chance to go back.
I did a little time in prison for some stupid mistakes when i was younger , granted it has been over 20 years but there is not a day that goes by that i forget being told, when to eat,what to eat, when lights off were, and what time to get up..Amoung many other freedoms you loose and may take for granted in your everyday life..And,,,who can forget count time…LOL..What fun..rather have all my teeth pulled !
Everythiing in life happens for a reason even if we do not understand why at that very moment..But i am sure you learned many things since you have been inside…About yourself, and others ..Also i am sure you have a new outlook on how really importent family really is..Not that you did not know that before ,I think you know exactly what i mean..
You have a whole life ahead of you..Keep your chin up..Do not loose sight of the end. Best of luck with these state charges..Hopefully if there not really bad you can get some time served, or even better get the charges dropped..But..know whatever happens..They can keep you forever..A new and better life awaits you…

@Linda Knout Blackwell – You wish they would leave him alone? He strangled and beat the shit out of his PREGNANT girlfriend while screaming at her that he wished the baby would die, then he tried to intimidate her into dropping the charges. Not sure if this was before or after he got nailed for drug trafficking. He isn’t quite the model citizen. So let me see….you obviously think it is ok for women to be beaten….and I guess you also think it is ok for him to be dealing drugs right? smh. Some people never cease to amaze me. Next you’ll be saying he is being treated unfairly.
Praying for you and so proud of the way you’ve turned your life around. Anxious to hear what happened in Boston as well as where you are now and what’s ahead of you. It takes a brave person to share the truth with all of us and I think you should be congratulated for your honesty, openness and ability to look at yourself in the mirror and admit what needs changing in your life. With that said, I have just started reading your blog b/c I just really started getting into twitter, and found you on there. I had never heard anything about any of what has happened to you, but your blog is amazing and ur such a strong person and have come such a long way! Keep with the positive thoughts — you can do this!! I would love a reply from you someday, even though it’s through a third party, just to know you recieved this! Hope your doing well as can be expected. It is now almost the end of October and the light at the end of your tunnel is getting closer and closer.
A new chance and life is almost within your reach.. I sincerly hope you take full advantage of the second chance you get to do things right. Treat people right and even thought it is tough living a fully legal life and it is not easy..The rewards pay off so much.
